It only works when the driver returns, and only if you have a pen nearby.
A licence plate is already visible on the car. Pair its text with the issuing country and it becomes a precise address, without exposing a phone number.

The picker suggests your device region. Swipe the country list if the plate was issued elsewhere.
re:plyte looks up the issuing country and normalised plate together. A QR sticker can open the same private route when a car is not yet claimed.

Say why before you say anything.
Every conversation starts with a reason chosen from the car owner’s list.
That rule keeps the inbox useful. There is no context-free cold open. Owners choose which reasons they accept and when notifications may reach them.

Send text, a useful photo or a voice note. The issuing country and plate are the shared identity at the top.
Quiet hours pause notifications without losing the thread. Neither person needs the other’s name or phone number to resolve the situation.

Each row leads with the issuing country, the plate and the reason the conversation started, so you know what a thread is about before you open it. A co-driver sees the car’s threads in their own list, without your account. Quiet hours decide when a notification may reach you; nothing is lost while they are on.
The plates on this page are made-up samples. Each one sets a three-digit block behind a county code, a shape no registration issued in Romania carries, and the RO band only illustrates the country picker.
Nearby
Some things everyone nearby needs to know.
Share a short road update with drivers inside the radius you choose. It expires automatically.
An obstruction, a closed lane or a free level in a car park. Location is used while Nearby is open, and the selected radius controls what you see.
For a longer journey, use a temporary group.
Drivers can share trip updates for as long as the group exists. Each car remains identified by issuing country and plate.
Communities
Your people, by model or city.
Join the community for the model you drive or the city you drive in, and ask the people who have already had the same problem.
A model community shows that you drive one too, taken from the car in your garage. Inside a community you appear under a nickname: your plate stays hidden there, and so does everything else about you.

Insurance, inspection and road tax with the date each one runs out, a short service list, and the people allowed to drive.
A co-driver gets their own sign-in, sees the car’s history and can reply for it, without ever seeing your account — and you can take that access back at any time. None of what is on this card reaches the person writing to the plate.

Apple, Google or a phone number. Connect all three to the same account and use whichever you have to hand.
The number on the account is also how a plate claim gets settled. If the plate you are claiming already belongs to an account, we can send a code to the phone on that account instead of asking you to prove it any other way. Nobody who writes to your car ever sees it.
What they see
They see the country and plate. That’s all.
A sender sees the issuing country and plate, never your name or phone number.
Claiming a car requires a document check. Co-drivers can share access without sharing an account, and that access can be removed.
