Operator and contact

re:plyte operates this service. For service questions, write to [email protected]; for personal-data requests, write to [email protected].

Who may use re:plyte

You must have legal capacity to accept these terms. If mandatory law requires a parent or guardian to authorize your use, you may use the service only with that authorization. You must comply with the laws that apply to you and must not use re:plyte where doing so is prohibited.

What the service does

re:plyte lets people communicate about a vehicle identified by its issuing country together with its licence plate. It can route reason-first messages, media, temporary road information and community or travel-group content without exposing a phone number. A QR sticker or link can open a limited contact route. re:plyte is a communication tool, not proof of identity, vehicle ownership, message delivery or another person's response.

Not an emergency or driving service

re:plyte is not an emergency service, roadside dispatch service or substitute for police, medical, fire or rescue assistance. Reports, messages and support are not monitored for an immediate response. Call 112 or the relevant local emergency number when a person, animal, property or road user is in immediate danger. Do not type, scan, record or read content while driving; stop safely and obey road law.

Accounts and sign-in

You are responsible for the activity you authorize through your account and for keeping your device and sign-in method secure. Do not share passwords, one-time codes, identity tokens or live session credentials. Apple, Google and phone sign-in create the same kind of re:plyte account for these terms. Tell us promptly through support if you believe the account or a linked vehicle is being misused.

Claiming vehicles and QR links

Claim a vehicle or grant co-driver access only when you are entitled to do so, and provide accurate material for any document check. The issuing country and normalised plate are stored together because the same plate text can exist in different countries. Do not copy, replace or redirect another person's QR sticker or use a QR route to impersonate an owner. Access can be revoked, a vehicle can be archived, and a claim can be reviewed or withdrawn where authority is disputed.

User content and the incorporated rules

You keep your rights in content you submit. You give re:plyte a non-exclusive licence, limited to what is necessary to host, secure, transmit, display, moderate and otherwise operate re:plyte and to meet legal obligations. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed for the content and people shown in it. The User Content Rules at replyte.com/en/user-content-rules form part of these terms, and the app requires acceptance of their current version before user-content publishing or upload.

Reporting, blocking and moderation

You may report visible content and privately block another user through the available controls. A report is an allegation, not proof. We may review bounded evidence and available context, dismiss the report, remove content, or suspend its author from user-content publishing when reasonably necessary to enforce these terms, protect the service or users, or comply with law. We do not promise a particular moderation result or review time. Serious or repeated abuse can be actioned without prior notice where appropriate.

Acceptable use

Do not harass, threaten, stalk, discriminate, deceive, spam, advertise without permission, automate bulk contact, publish another person's confidential information, submit unlawful or infringing material, fabricate an emergency or road event, evade a block or rate limit, probe another account, interfere with the service, or claim a vehicle you are not entitled to claim. The more detailed User Content Rules apply to direct and public content.

Location and safety choices

Nearby and road-broadcast features depend on location supplied by your device and the radius you select. Results can be incomplete, delayed or inaccurate and must not be used as navigation, traffic-control or safety instructions. You control optional device permissions and are responsible for sharing only the minimum location and media needed for a legitimate purpose.

Plans and billing

The app download is free. Free is the default plan: one car, no co-drivers, and unlimited incoming messages. Outbound messaging on Free is limited to three messages a day until a claimed car is verified, then outbound messaging is unlimited. Premium covers three cars and three co-drivers on each; capacity past the Free floor needs a verified plate. Premium is an auto-renewable subscription bought through Apple In-App Purchase on iOS or Google Play Billing on Android where those products are offered, and re:plyte grants it only after verifying the purchase with the platform store. If a store product is missing or a purchase does not complete, Free access remains. Fleet covers unlimited cars and co-drivers for one organization, is billed per vehicle under a custom agreement arranged with our sales team and invoiced through Stripe, and is not sold in the app or on this website. This website has no checkout. There is no paid call, print-order, hold, or sold sticker pack. Cancel or change a Premium subscription in the App Store or Google Play account that bought it; end Fleet with our sales team. A later change to prices or paid features does not apply automatically: it requires clear pricing and applicable purchase, renewal, cancellation and refund terms before it is offered.

App stores and third-party services

Apple App Store and Google Play terms apply to downloads, updates, Premium purchases, renewals, cancellations, refunds, product availability and their own accounts. Store products, localized prices, taxes and transaction outcomes are controlled by the applicable platform under its terms. re:plyte cannot change a platform account or bypass receipt verification; it grants Premium only after its server verifies the applicable purchase evidence. A missing, rejected, cancelled or unavailable store transaction leaves Free access and the existing account available. Fleet is arranged separately through the re:plyte sales team and billed per vehicle through a custom Stripe agreement; it has no Apple or Google store product. Apple, Google, Firebase, Twilio, Cloudflare, Stripe and device operating systems provide separate services under their own terms. Deleting re:plyte does not delete an Apple, Google or Stripe account and does not itself cancel a platform-store or Fleet billing agreement.

Service availability and changes

We aim to operate re:plyte with reasonable care, but there is no service-level agreement. Access, notifications, QR routes, delivery, verification and particular features may be unavailable, delayed, changed or discontinued for maintenance, security, provider, legal or operational reasons. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, that every message reaches the intended person, or that another user responds.

Ending use and account deletion

You may stop using the service at any time. You can schedule deletion in the app or through replyte.com/delete-account whether you signed in with Apple, Google or a phone number. Deactivation and session revocation are immediate, followed by a reversible 30-day grace period; the scheduled purge then deletes or de-identifies eligible information subject to the Privacy Policy and lawful exceptions. A retained Sign in with Apple authorization is revoked when deletion is initiated. We may suspend or terminate access for material or repeated breaches, security risk, legal requirements or discontinued service.

Our software and marks

re:plyte and its licensors retain rights in the re:plyte software, design, name, marks and service material other than user content. We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the current app and website for their intended purpose while you comply with these terms. Do not copy, resell, reverse engineer or exploit the service except where mandatory law expressly permits it.

Responsibility and mandatory rights

You remain responsible for your content, vehicle claims, compliance with road and other law, and decisions made from information in the service. To the extent permitted by law, re:plyte is supplied without guarantees beyond those expressly required by applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, or waives mandatory consumer remedies. Any responsibility of either party is determined under applicable law and the proven circumstances; these terms do not create a guaranteed delivery, moderation, verification or response outcome.

Romanian law and competent courts

Romanian law governs these terms, without depriving a consumer of mandatory protections available under the law that would apply without that choice. Jurisdiction is non-exclusive: disputes may be brought before Romanian courts where they are competent or before any other court available under mandatory consumer or procedural law. Before litigation, you may contact us so we can try to resolve the issue, but doing so does not remove a right or deadline provided by law.

Updates to these terms

We may update these terms for changes to the service, providers, security or law. The revised page will state its effective date, and we will provide additional notice or ask for renewed acceptance where required. Changes do not retroactively remove accrued mandatory rights. If you do not accept a change that requires acceptance, stop using the affected feature and use the available account controls.
